In Earthland, magic is a way of life especially in Fiore. There are many different ways to use to magic and many different formations of it. Here are some of the types of magics avaible to mages on FT Reborn:
Caster Magic: (キャスターマジック Kyasutā Majikku) This refers to magic is the expelled from the body rather than an object or external source. This type of magic is the most common form of magic.
Holder Magic: (ホルダーのマジック Horudā Majikku) This refers to magic that requires an external source to produce magic, such as lacrimas or weapons.
Ancient Magic: (古代魔法, エンシェントスペル, Enshento Superu) This type of magic refers to magic from ancient times. Lost magics fall under this category. Limited and rare magics are considered to be this type of magic.
Magic is determine through your mana pool. Once a mage has run out, they are considered knocked out for the term of the topic. You may get stronger by ranking up and buying mana from the mana shop. Each mage starts off with a certain amount of magic.
Basic - D: 100 Magic
Novice - C: 180 Magic
Intermediate - B: 240 Magic
Experienced - A: 320 Magic
Expert - S: 400 Magic
Hero - X: 480 Magic
Legend - Z: 560 Magic

Requip
Requip is a magic that allows a mage to change into different elemental armors and weapons that are stored in a pocket dimension that can be use at any time. This magic is super unique and rare. During battle or just to show off, this magic can be super flexible to use and depending on the rank can be changed very quickly. To make Requip spells, you take the first and easier route, you will use the spell template and make the weapon just like you'd make any other spell. The only difference is Requip weapons do not have their effectiveness reduced due to Sustains. Only one armor can ever be equiped at once (or 1 armor set).

Takeover
Takeover is a special magic that allows allows one to change form into other creatures by souls. There are many different types of souls such as animal soul, beast soul, devil, and many others to choose from. Each takeover magic can only have one type of soul. So no Take-Over mage could have Beast and Animal soul, it has to be one or the other. Of course, you do not have to choose souls straight from the anime and create your own to each your character's story.
When you have an activated Takeover, you gain those qualities of that creature. The same general rules apply even when in an animal form, such as flight rules. Despite you looking like said animal, you still retain some qualities of your true self (larger than normal animal, unique colorings, ect.). You can also transform parts and pieces of your body instead of normal ones. God Modding is not allowed here, and if staff see any of it going on with this magic, they are free to intervene as they see fair.

There are three different kinds of slayers one could be on FT Reborn. Just like in the anime, we have the following three kinds of slayers:
Dragon Slayer
God Slayer
Devil/Demon Slayer
Slayer magics have different qualities than the other limited magics available for use.All slayers get resistance to their own element: two ranks below your rank grants full immunity. A single rank below grants 50% immunity, and equal rank grants 25%. A rank higher only grants 10%, and two ranks higher give none. Consuming your own element also grants you mana, as much as the spell you consumed cost to cast.
Dragon Slayer: The most popular and known one from the Fairy Tail series, we all want to be that awesome Natsu and kick ass. Who doesn't? Dragon slayers are taught this magic either through a dragon or Lacrima or both. This magic is used to deal and slay dragons. This is the only way to kill a dragon is by the hands of a dragon Slayer. Here are some of the abilities that come with this awesome and lost magic:
Roar: All slayer grant a single ability that does not take up a spell slot and will raise with you automatically depending on rank. You may spell a blast of your own element after a short delay of inhaling. All the parameters of this attack is default to your current rank (So C ranks would deal C rank damage, it would travel at C rank speed and range, ect.). These spells are an instant cast and do not have any of their parameters reduced.
God Slayer: God Slayer magic is another famous magic that is lost and rare to be by the naked eye. It has the same qualities as Dragon Slayer and Devil/Demon Slayer magic. How one obtains it is very much a mystery unless you learn from another mage or a book. Here are some of the abilities:
Seinaru- God Slayers are naturally stronger than Dragon Slayers. God Slayers may consume a Dragon Slayer's element without repercussions. In addition, no matter what the magic, God Slayer magic always takes on a dark black or purple-ish appearance when used.
Roar: All slayer grant a single ability that does not take up a spell slot and will raise with you automatically depending on rank. You may spell a blast of your own element after a short delay of inhaling. All the parameters of this attack is default to your current rank (So C ranks would deal C rank damage, it would travel at C rank speed and range, ect.). These spells are an instant cast and do not have any of their parameters reduced.
Devil/Demon Slayer: Devil/Demon Slayer specializes by taking on qualities of a demon. This specific magic is used to deal with demons and slay them forever eternity. It has some of the same qualities as Dragon and God Slayer magic. How it is obtained is also unknown much like God Slayer Magic. Here are some of the abilities that comes with it:
Yami - Devil Slayers are naturally stronger than God Slayers. Devil Slayers may consume a God Slayer's element without repercussions. In addition, no matter what the magic, Devil Slayer magic always takes on a light white or yellow-ish appearance when used.
Roar: All slayer grant a single ability that does not take up a spell slot and will raise with you automatically depending on rank. You may spell a blast of your own element after a short delay of inhaling. All the parameters of this attack is default to your current rank (So C ranks would deal C rank damage, it would travel at C rank speed and range, ect.).
